I used to think "well this is RNG" but I am now convinced after weeks and weeks of it being this way that they actively look at the market for things and how it's being flooded with items and maybe tweak drop rates. Now I am lucky if I get maybe 1-2 high value items per run. I used to pull all sorts of valuable stuff in a single farming run. I haven't seen these in the abundance they used to be for well over a month and a half now. Used to be I was finding tons of Mother's Sorrow gear with more valuable trait rolls in it. The developers might be ninja-patching drop rates for valuable items. I have video evidence of this and will be making a big post about sometime in the future after I've burned through another thousand lockpicks that I am counting and tallying. You'd be surprised how many times I've had lockpicks fail 3-4 times in a row on simple chests. "80% chance of success" for a simple chest. The lockpicking passive skill might be bugged. I have some observations about chest farming as well as meta-sets that are valuable. I know this because I'll buy about a thousand lock picks at a time. I've made millions doing this and have probably opened well over 2-3 thousand chests. I have routes that I use and I sell highly coveted Mother's Sorrow pieces, for example, in my guild traders. Using a stealthy character will make it easier to complete the quests alone.Every single day, I farm Deshaan and a few other select zones for at least 45 minutes to an hour for treasure chests. What makes things challenging is the active PVP in the area. In general all six quests are easy and fast to complete. Then gather a Barrel of Tar and use it to destroy the Great Forge.įinally for the Watch your Step Quest, kill Legion Zero Soldiers and bait four Orgrim traps for Brihana in the Nobles District. Then plant charged Geodes on Skeletal Laborers.ĭousing the Fires of Industry will have you destroy four Ballistas first for Quintia Rullus in the Elven Gardens District. In Speaking for the Dead, you will have to first kill two Xivkyn enemies for the Legate Gallus in the Memorial District. Killing one only enemy near the citizens is enough to free them. In Historical Accuracy, Loncano in the Arboretum District will ask you to kill five Daedroth or Flame Atronachs and collect documents from Dremora enemies nearby.įor The Lifeblood of an Empire, Valga Atrius in the Arena District will ask you to save twelve citizens in the area. Mix the ingredients at the ritual brazier and anoint three artifacts with Claw Ash to complete the quest. ![]()
